Planar Analysis

We've been working on planar analysis in class. I really like this image below. Note: I did not draw this, but I think it's a good example of what we've been asked to do minus the value study. As far as in class, I think I'm getting the hang of finding the forms and the planes but still haven't gotten done the line variation. I'll be working on it in the sketchbook though. We were also asked to do a planar analysis of a hanging drapery, such as this below. This was a little bit more difficult than the stuff we've been working on in class. It was really hard to make the drapery seem as though the folds were rounded, and the folds at the bottom were outrageous. Once again, another thing to work on in the sketchbook.
